Simplicity

I love the simplicity of film cameras, or those throw away ones i used to get when i was little. Not seeing what you're getting until you've printed it out. The fact that you know, it's not been edited and the colors haven't been tweaked. I love it. Simplicity is nice.
Look how adorable he is! I'm such a proud Aunt Eah =) He's a spectacular little fella.
Just one of the many that i love of him. He's a bit older now but this will always be one of my favorites from our zoo trip.
I've always adored this picture. From our North Carolina trip when i was 11. I remember my whole family walking from our house up to the beach, expecting to see something amazing just like everyone had always talked about. But when we went over the dunes i saw nothing cause it was pitch black. I just remember hearing the beach. And I'm sure that's why my favorite thing about it has always been the sound. Of course then i didn't think about it much, but now I'm realizing when i go back in that moment, just how amazing God really is. Not only has he given us creation for our sight to marvel at, but our ears too. Even the sound of the ocean God put thought into.
So props to you God! You are aaaamazin.

Annnd i can't help but to throw this in here too..
My oldest sister Kim. Taken when i was a wee tot. It looks like she just walked off the set of one of those old teen shows like step by step or boy meets world. Haha.

Any who. I feel like sharing random things. Like how i finally tried a peanut butter and banana sand which. My expectations were high, and i am happy to say they were surpassed. And I dropped off my job application, so crossing my fingers now. I have this giant urge to thrift all day.. maybe I'll finally get to do that in a few weeks. Finally have made my first little make-up bag type thing! Turned out a different shape then i wanted, but it was definitely a good go and I'm excited to used it! And I'm thrilled to say i got a letter in the mail! I never get anything unless it's something special or something from a college (which is not so special). My friend Shanna was so lovely enough to write me from Louisiana while she's there waiting to go into the Air Force. I love snail mail, and it just made my day to get it and to write her back. These past few days have been a little eh for me, so it's nice to be able to point out some happy things that have happened. I think for now, lots of sewing is needed. I have lots of things that need to be made if I'm ever going to start my etsy.
So I'm off to do so! Have a lovely snowy afternoon.
